Allerdings wurde die Zusammensetzung im Laufe der Jahre immer wieder mal leicht geändert, und ich könnte mir auch vorstellen, dass die REACH-Verordnung den Zusatz von Ruß, der diese beiden Varianten so schwarz macht, in naher Zukunft zumindest einschränkt. STAEDTLER Thailand führt noch den Lumograph EE, allerdings ist es möglich, dass dieser eine hier hergestellte 8B-Mine enthält und lediglich mit EE bedruckt wird. Ich kann auch nicht ausschließen, dass es sich bei den dort angebotenen EE um Restbestände aus Deutschland handelt. Leider kann ich nicht sagen, bis wann es den 2886 gab (bei dem Stift im Beitrag weiß ich es von dem Händler, der diesen und andere Stifte noch in seinem Fundus hatte); ich werde bei Gelegenheit mal bei STAEDTLER anfragen. Ich habe nämlich noch zwei 2886 und wollte unbedingt mehr davon. Nun habe ich Lumograph wiederentdeckt und wollte dieselben Stifte habe. Soll ich also 7B kaufen? Und heißt das, dass meine 2886 tatsächlich 70 Jahre auf dem Buckel haben??? (Könnte schon sein, da ich sie glaube ich von meinem Opa bekommen habe. While testing the old EX-EXB, the newer EE and the current 8B I have noticed that the leads of these pencils are a little sticky on the paper, i. e. they don't glide as easy as the other grades do; I assume that the added soot is responsible for this. – By the way, their matt black is very impressive. I have just learned that the leads of the Mars Lumograph 7B and 8B hardness grades contain a certain amount of soot which increases the blackening of these pencils (very probably this is the case with the EX-EXB as well).
