Indeed – it doesn’t look like information overflow ;-) I am not sure what kind of documents have been kept in that unsual piece of office furniture but in view of the name I assume it was meant to simplify the access to frequently used forms. However, using it for other documents must have been proven useful too.

If the drawer has 12 sections, perhaps it is meant to support a „tickler“ or „bring forward“ filing system? (Just a guess.)
