Apollo-Mission

  1. Kiwi-d: I am happy to hear that you like it. The diagram was above the Apollo information, and I haven’t noticed the visual match only when I have put it in the post. – I am a fan of exploded views!

  4. That’s right – the differences in design are quite big. However, since the “Apollo” name was used since 1895 for many different products I don’t expect to see a typical “Apollo” design.

  5. I am actually a fan of this APOLLO L 0.5 model as well as CONTURA XF/XL/TK-FINE which are originally simillar in shape.I have been wondering for a long time to know who is the first inventor of this great barrel model whith a hegxagonal grip connected to a round shape body. I don’t understand what is the great charm behind this great design which makes this model extra special! If you have any further information I will be thankful to share with me!

  6. I’m happy to hear that you like the APOLLO pencil! You’re right – that barrel design is special but unfortunately I don’t know its origin.
