Noch kürzer als dieser Beitrag ist der STABILO 8024, den Schwan in den 1930er Jahren als Notizbleistift angeboten hat.
Er ist 84 mm kurz, 4,2 mm dick und hat eine etwa 1,5 mm dünne Mine. Beeindruckend, dass sogar ein Prägedruck möglich war!

Interesting that the core is also thinner than the usual ~2mm, I guess they had to.
I’m not sure how to describe that, but are the slats joined on a flat section (like the modern pencil), or at an angle?
It’s indeed a cute item, and if you hold that pencil your hand looks huge ;-)
I’m not sure about the reason for the thinner lead but wouldn’t be surprised if they had used a lead which was originally produced for propelling pencils.
