Ein sehr schönes Foto von drei sehr ansprechenden Druckbleistiften. Welche Minenstärke (und von welchem Hersteller) bevorzugst Du ? Ich für meinen Teil die Pentel Ain Stein C277 in HB oder H bzw. die Pentel Ain Stein C275 in B oder HB.
Ich benutze meist 0,3 mm, aber auch 0,4 und 0,5 mm und inzwischen ausschließlich die Pilot Neox Graphite in 2B; für 0,5 mm nehme ich hin und wieder auch mal B und HB.
Vor vielen Jahren habe ich etliche Minen getestet und bin dann bei den erwähnten geblieben (damals hießen sie noch „Eno NeoX“). Schwärzung, Bruchfestigkeit, Gleitfähigkeit und Radierbarkeit sind hervorragend, und 2B finde ich besonders beeindruckend.

Did you notice the little bump above the grip? It keeps the pencil from rolling away when you use it without the clip. That’s a clever detail!

The S10 is on my wish list. I like some metal grips; I hope it doesn’t add too much weight. I use that small bump as a reference point for rotating the mechanical pencil. I like to use it without the clip for drawing.

You won’t regret buying the S10! Of course it’s heavier but not so heavy that it makes it difficult to use. Another thing I really like about the S10 is how durable the grip is – even after years of daily use, it shows no signs of wear. And if you also like wooden barrels you can make an S15 ;-)
Your use of the small bump is very clever! And it’s great that the clip is only held by friction so it doesn’t leave an unsightly indentation when you remove it.

Great trio from Pilot! Japanese quality. Sorry, for reacting so late. I was abroad and not so active on the internet. Yellow is the favourite of colour-blind people. Hence my thanks. And most early flowers seem to be based on this bright egg yolk colour. No better choice for spring. “Gelb, Yellow, Jaune, Geel”, for the World ;).
Yes, that really is top-notch Japanese quality! (And the pencils shown here are actually among the more affordable models.) I didn’t know that yellow is the favourite colour for people with colour blindness; thank you for that detail. When I go for a walk with Kisho, I love seeing all the yellow blooms around us!
